Set in a bizarre, 1960's inspired version of World War 2, action comedy series DANGER 5 follows a team of five spies on a mission to kill Adolf Hitler.
Danger 5 is the finest group of special operatives the Allies have to offer: Jackson from the USA, Tucker from Australia, Ilsa from Russia, Claire from Britain and Pierre from Europe. In each episode Danger 5 unravels another of Hitler's diabolical schemes as they travel across a myriad of exotic locations.
The action and offbeat humour is relentless as Danger 5 mounts a series of thrilling missions which include discovering Josef Mengele's perverted Antarctic death circus, busting down Erwin Rommel's golden murder casino and posing as exotic dancers in an attempt to take out Hitler at his own birthday party.

Polizeibrutalität als Ausmalbuch

Der New Yorker Künstler Joe Heaps hat ein fotokopiertes, selbstgebundenes Ausmalbuch zum Thema Polizeibrutalität herausgebracht, nachdem eine Freundin während der Occupy-Proteste eine Ladung Pfefferspray abbekommen hatte. Ein paar Malvorlagen daraus gibts bei Wired:

Forty-six artists, including Shepard Fairey, have contributed black-and-white artwork to the Police Brutality Coloring Book, a 48-page DIY publication inspired by incidents of violent police action against Occupy Wall Street activists. “I wasn’t directly involved with the movement, but I had been down there a few times and was sympathetic to the cause,” said Police Brutality Coloring Book creator Joe “Heaps” Nelson ... Then it turned out that Chelsea Elliott, one of four women pepper-sprayed during a Sep. 24 protest march in Manhattan, was a friend of a friend of the New York artist.  The incident, and others like it, spurred Nelson into action. “I am outraged at how the police are treating people,” he said, “and moral outrage is not my default setting. And then when I saw that guy at Cal Davis [University of California at Davis campus police Lt. John Pike] calmly spray those kids in the face, I knew I had to do something.”

Ich packe dann mal meine Koffer und gehe zum nächsten Weltraumbahnhof: Chungkong hat ein sechsteiliges Set mit exoplanetarischen Reisezielen entworfen:

Ich wäre nicht darauf gekommen, im Nachhinein kann ich mir aber keine bessere Wahl vorstellen: Das Nachrichtenmagazin Time hat dieses Jahr als Reaktion auf die weltweiten Proteste den bzw. die Demonstrant/in zur Person des Jahres 2011 ernannt. Das Cover hat Shepard Fairey gestaltet:

The Protester, Fairey says his cover image is based on a composite of 26 different photographs of real protests from around the world. “These organic protest movements have arisen around the globe and a lot of it was fueled by social media, but it was a pervasive phenomenon,” he said. “It wasn’t one specific movement but general unrest. I wanted to look for ideas to represent that.”

Eine Agentur aus Amsterdam hat ein Mashup aus Google Street View und Ego-Shooter zusammengetackert:

Seit Tagen kursieren mal wieder neue Arbeiten von Banksy im Netz, die man sich mittlerweile auch auf seiner Seite anschauen kann. Obwohl ich seinen Kram immer gerne gesehen habe und "Exit Through the Gift Shop" für mich einer der Filme letztes Jahr war ... So langsam setzt bei mir eine gewisse Langweile ... es nutzt sich auf hohem Niveau ab ... Bei einem Teil bin ich dann aber doch hängengeblieben und konnte nicht anders, als es hier rein ...

Das Layout errinnert dabei bewusst an Reclam ...
