Happier Meals: Big Mac Remix

Auf Anfrage von The Grid haben vier Chefköche je ein Bic Mac Menü so remixed, das es zumindest optisch den Ansprüchen eines Fünfsterne-Menüs genügt. Ich würde es trotzdem nicht essen.

We asked four chefs to turn a Big Mac combo (burger, fries and a Coke, plus lots of condiments) into a five-star dish. To our surprise, they agreed. The only rule: other than oil and water, no extra ingredients allowed. The result is four meals that won’t be seen on a specials board anytime soon.

Passend zum sich anbahnenden Sommerloch eine etwas ältere, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes gut abgehangene Story: In der Region Xochimilco in Mexiko gibts eine künstliche Insel, auf der überall gestrandete Puppen aufgehängt sind. Falls mal ein sechster Teil von "Chucky - Die Mörderpuppe" gedreht werden sollte, dort wäre der geeignete Drehort. Die Geschichte und Fotos zur "Island of Dolls" gibts hier, da und dort.
